As our global presence continued to grow, we changed our name to Fiduciary Trust Company International in 1987. In 1989 we established a platform for future Asian expansion with an office in Hong Kong. In the following decade, our presence in the Pacific Rim grew, with offices opening in Melbourne, Australia, in 1996 and in Tokyo in 1998. Our well-established global presence allows us to offer cross-border estate planning to multinational family clients. We provide a context for their financial affairs and execute strategic plans for maximizing the accumulation and transfer of wealth to their heirs. Currently, we work with families from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
