Wallwood was founded in 1998 by Mario Kelly and Daryl Swain, the directors and traders of the company. Both Mario and Daryl have worked in the forex markets since 1988 and 1990 respectively, working abroad and for several London brokers. They have gained an invaluable understanding of the markets, which has subsequently been used to formulate the companies unique trading system. After three years of refining the method, these benefits have begun to be passed on to their managed account clients, which commenced trading in February 2001. Wallwood has FSA regulation allowing them to advise and discretionary manage funds on forex, futures, Options and CFDs. On July 15th 1999 Wallwood Consultants Ltd became regulated by the FSA (formally SFA), and on 19th December 2000 Wallwood upgraded their FSA Category to enable Discretionary Managed Accounts. September 2003 saw Wallwood become a member of the NFA.
