The company formed in 1979, principally to manufacture battery chargers and power supplies. During the 1980s our then supplier of transformers, H.D. Transformers, was aquired. H.D. Transformers as a trading entity commenced in 1965. Delta Electronics aquired April 2001. Current Focus, The core business of the company is transformers, power supplies and battery chargers for the industrial marketplace. The broad customer base includes the likes of Telstra, Nilsen, Western Mining, Defence Department, Rowanco, BE Switchcraft, Genpower and many others. In addition the company has a four year period contract for the supply of 700 purpose built battery charges with the N.S.W. Fire Brigade. Quality Assurance, The company is ISO 9001:2000 third party accredited with BVQI. All products conform with relevant Australian standards, ie AS NZS 61558, AS2974, AS1243 & AS1202.
