Joel Leyden was one of the first professional Israeli International Marketing, Public Relations, Business Development, Advertising, Internet, E-Commerce, Cross-Cultural and Crisis Communications consultants who came from Madison Avenue. Leyden Communications Inc. was established in New York City, with offices at the World Trade Center, by Joel Leyden in 1982. The organization was responsible for providing a variety of international marketing, PR, media, branding and business development services to some of the worlds largest commercial, governmental, political and non-profit organizations. Leyden Communications (ISRAEL) is affiliated with the LEYDEN GROUP OF COMPANIES headquartered in New York City. In 1987, Joel Leyden relocated to Israel and established Leyden Communications (Israel). Mr. Leyden, who holds B.A. Degrees in Journalism and Psychology and a Masters Degree in Mass Communications, has received numerous Awards in Crisis Communications Management, International Marketing, Advertising and E-commerce. Mr. Leyden served on the faculty and lectures on International Marketing, Public Relations and E-Commerce at the Jerusalem College of Technology and is a former senior editor at the Jerusalem Post. Joel Leyden started his international communications career well before he learned to shave. At the age of ten Joel was an accomplished Citizens Band radio controller. By the age of twelve he passed several tests and received an Amateur Radio license from the Federal Communications Commission. This put Joel in daily voice and Morse code contact with people around globe.
