Philanthropists Coalescence in Online Business Directory
Grassroots.org is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to spread valuable social information throughout the world, and to provide free services to other nonprofit organizations to help them save money and further their own missions. We believe that our grassroots strategy ultimately helps relieve some of the worlds most egregious problems. Grassroots.org thinks that common people have to act together to represent common global interests. We want to spread important, actionable information to the masses, with a special focus on web surfers. We want to gently push any complacent citizens out of complacency by exposing them to relevant social facts and encouraging them to take suggested actions. There are millions of suffering people that can readily benefit from your participation in social action. We often try to ignore this fact but its of no use. While getting involved may be a challenge, the combined good faith efforts of the masses will in fact create major, relevant social improvements worldwide. The sooner the better. Grassroots.org does not seek to push any particular subject or action on you but merely encourages you to study and act on the issues you care about. Our sites explain the basics of many important issues and contain links to excellent resources. Future generations depend on the proper decisions and actions of the current generation. If you have or plan to have children (or nieces and nephews) you cannot afford to not act for their sake. While suffering certainly encompasses issues like hunger, disease, poverty and refugees, it is also significantly affected by legal, economic, environmental and other issues that we seek to address. Grassroots.orgs virtual community comprises organizations and people the world over who believe common citizens working in concert can and will make a profound difference! Grassroots.org acts as a clearinghouse for the best tools and information to enable non-profits and everyday citizens to conduct their charitable activities as efficiently as possible. Doing so ultimately helps more people and lessens additional suffering faster. Often organizations with the noblest of missions do not have adequate experience in the business world or with modern technologies. This is because they must spend most of their time in the trenches making a difference and raising funds to stay afloat. This inadvertently leaves them inefficient in modern business and technology methods. Grassroots.org offers free business and Internet services to help fill holes in their strategies and save them precious resources. It is our firm belief that nonprofit organizations with meaningful causes who embrace state-of-the-art best business practices will prosper and alleviate additional human suffering. We provide free Internet services to charities, including full-featured web hosting and email services. We also provide non-profit consulting to charities at no charge including assistance with the following: incorporation, application for tax-exempt 501c3 status with the IRS, general employment, tax and risk management issues. We focus on serving non-religious organizations involved in Education, Environmentalism, Humanitarian Relief, Fighting Disease, Homeless Issues, Crime Control, Political Freedom, Government Reform, Consumer Protection, Youth Issues, Addiction, and other like-minded, non-legislative causes. By providing free services to charities we help them save money and become more efficient. In turn, they can provide additional benefits to their constituents. Grassroots.org also provides content and links on the above topics to web users throughout the world. We strive to deliver clear and objective information that is usable by everyday global citizens, with extra emphasis on issues facing the United States. Our opinions and ideas are not influenced by any corporate, political, or religious affiliations. On most web sites you cant count on that level of objectivity. We have no interest in being politically correct, only factually correct to the extent possible. When faced with no other options, we believe in aggressively promoting a solution which is the lesser of two evils. Grassroots.org is a very heavily trafficked web site due to the fact that many other sites feed in to it like Crime.org, Homeless.org, Relief.org, PublicService.org, Diseases.org, and hundreds more related and unrelated sites. Our content and linked sites are viewed throughout the world by many thousands of people each day. In some cases we partner with our non-profit customers to build custom, socially active sites at select URLs. Grassroots.org does not collect fees for any of its services. All services are free to organizations and individuals willing to actively support the mission. In the future if any fees are collected they will all go directly to the cause. We are committed to operating in an extremely efficient environment and the major goal of the organization is to teach other nonprofit organizations around the world to operate more efficiently and effectively so that their causes can prosper. Grassroots.orgs work is benefiting hungry, oppressed, uneducated, and other ailing people more and more each day.
