We are a small group of people who have worked together for years helping companies position themselves competitively. We all came out of Cunningham Communication (now Citigate Cunningham), and have a very thorough understanding of how to communicate successfully in the marketplace. In our three-years as a firm, we have worked with many companies on their brand positions including Adobe, AMD, Cisco, Eclipse Aviation, EO — the Entrepreneurs Organization, LeapFrog, Nationwide Insurance, Pequot Ventures, Portal Software, PRTM Management Consultants, Specialized Bicycle Components, Sun Microsystems, University of California, San Francisco and the Young Presidents Organization. Every project we accept is unique and we adjust our process accordingly. We form a team with key executives and create a shared experience of developing the perfect position for a brand and the messaging that supports it. The main deliverable from this work is a Message Architecture, which typically includes: vision, mission, positioning statement, value proposition, brand attributes, top-line key messages and proof points. We essentially create a playbook for communications. Then we help get the ball rolling by initiating various marketing communication strategies.
